The Robustel R1520LG LoRaWAN Gateway is a useful reference for vendor evaluation because it exposes the decisions that matter beyond the radio: regional variants, external or embedded network-server architecture, cellular and wired backhaul, industrial interfaces and fleet management. A serious comparison should ask how the proposed gateway will be installed, operated and recovered in the…

The Robustel R5010 Industrial 5G Router is a sensible cost baseline when a site needs a managed 5G handoff to an existing firewall or SD-WAN appliance, because its focused interface design avoids paying for local ports that another device already owns. The lowest hardware quotation is rarely the lowest five-year cost. Power, antennas, data plans,…

The Robustel EG5200 Edge Computing Gateway combines five Gigabit Ethernet ports, 4 GB RAM, 32 GB eMMC and a documented 2.3 TOPS NPU. These are useful machine-vision building blocks, not a statement about how many cameras or models the gateway will run. Vision capacity depends on resolution, frame rate, codec, preprocessing, model, runtime, result handling…

The Robustel R1520LG LoRaWAN Gateway combines an eight-channel LoRaWAN gateway with cellular, Ethernet and Wi-Fi backhaul choices and both external and embedded LNS options. Those capabilities make it relevant to smart metering, where the difficult path is often not the open-air distance but the final metres into a basement, riser or metal meter cabinet. Buying…

The Robustel R5020-Lite Industrial 5G Router is a compact 5G router with two Gigabit Ethernet ports, dual SIM and one software-configurable RS-232 or RS-485 interface. Those are relevant onboard capabilities, but an AGV or AMR project succeeds on the route, not on the bench. Metal racks move, vehicles turn, doors close, and a robot may…

The Robustel EG5100 Edge Computing Gateway provides a managed Linux edge platform with Ethernet, configurable serial interfaces and local I/O. It can host verified building-integration applications, but physical interfaces do not prove BACnet, Modbus or MQTT behaviour on their own. Selection starts by naming protocol roles. Which device is queried, which system publishes, what data…

The Robustel LG5120 Intelligent Building Control Center is relevant when a smart-building project must connect LoRaWAN sensing with established building protocols. That is a broader role than placing a packet forwarder on a roof. Two paths need to work. The RF path must reach sensors in offices, risers, basements and plant rooms. The data path…

The Robustel R5020 Industrial 5G Router provides four Gigabit Ethernet ports, dual physical SIMs, Wi-Fi, RS-232, RS-485 and DI/DO. Those capabilities can suit an EV charging site, but a vendor evaluation should begin with the charging service rather than the router specification. A charge point may need to authorize sessions, report state, support payment or…

The Robustel EG3120e Edge Computing Gateway provides local compute, Ethernet, serial connectivity and cellular options for machine-data projects. It can establish the edge boundary for predictive maintenance; the useful prediction still comes from a validated signal, method and maintenance response. Begin with a failure mode and a maintenance action. If the team cannot say what…

The Robustel LG3120e LoRaWAN Gateway combines LoRaWAN connectivity with local compute and mixed field interfaces. Its purchase price is only meaningful when compared with the software, installation and operating role the project expects it to perform. A lower-cost packet forwarder can be the correct answer for a straightforward external-LNS design. It can become expensive when…
