The Robustel R2010e is an industrial 4G/LTE router that blends the reliability of the R2010 platform with a hybrid SIM setup: one physical SIM slot plus an embedded MFF2 eSIM/eUICC that supports the GSMA SGP.22 standard. This design keeps dual-path resilience while reducing the operational load of managing a second plastic SIM, making it better suited to international deployments and long-lived fleets.

The embedded eSIM/eUICC enables remote download, activation, and switching of operator profiles, so coverage and commercial terms can be adjusted without truck rolls. It also adds enterprise-grade safeguards for provisioning at scale, including secure profile control, automatic rollback to the last working profile if activation fails, and profile rotation to minimise dependence on long-term roaming arrangements and avoid SIM-swap maintenance.

For fleet operations and security, Robustel Cloud Manager Service (RCMS) provides centralized monitoring, configuration, firmware management, and Zero-Touch eSIM Provisioningโ€”bridging the gap between SGP.22 compliance and real-world mass rollout needs. The router runs RobustOS (Linux-based) with a C/C++ SDK for application customisation, supports a broad VPN and tunnelling stack (including IPsec, OpenVPN, WireGuard, and GRE), and is built for industrial conditions with an IP30 metal enclosure, wide 9โ€“36 V DC input, โ€“35 to +75 ยฐC operation, and flexible mounting options.
