The Robustel R1520e Global is an industrial 4G/LTE VPN router designed for OEMs, system integrators, fleet operators, and distributed enterprises that need reliable cellular connectivity across multiple countries, carriers, and deployment environments.
Built on the proven R1520 Global platform, the R1520e combines wide 4G/LTE, 3G, and 2G band support with a hybrid 1 × eSIM MFF2 + 1 × physical SIM architecture. This gives organisations the flexibility of a removable SIM while adding the operational advantages of embedded eSIM/eUICC for remote profile provisioning, carrier changes, and long-term device lifecycle management.
The R1520e supports GSMA SGP.22 eSIM profile download and removal operations, with typical support for up to 6 eSIM profiles. When used with Robustel Cloud Manager Service (RCMS) enterprises can remotely assign and activate eSIM profiles across router fleets, helping reduce manual SIM handling, simplify international rollout, and avoid unnecessary site visits when connectivity requirements change.
For industrial integration, the R1520e Global provides 5 × 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports, configurable as 5 × LAN or 1 × WAN + 4 × LAN, plus RS-232, RS-485, 1 × DI, 1 × DO, 1 × analog input, Wi-Fi, GNSS, USB, optional PoE-PD on ETH0, and RobustOS networking features including VPN, routing, firewall, Smart Roaming, and RCMS remote management.
