The R1511P is an embedded variant of Robustel’s R1511 industrial router, built for OEMs and machine builders who need reliable cellular connectivity inside their own equipment — without the cost, size, or cabling overhead of a boxed router.
Compact and board-mounted, it delivers dual Fast Ethernet ports (configurable as LAN/WAN) plus a selectable RS-232 or RS-485 interface for direct connection to PLCs, controllers, and legacy serial devices. A built-in Modbus RTU to Modbus TCP gateway and transparent TCP/UDP serial tunneling make it easy to expose field data upstream without rewriting your application stack.
For backhaul, the R1511P supports 4G/LTE (with 3G/2G fallback), Ethernet, and optional Wi-Fi in AP or client mode, with automatic failover to keep services online. At scale, devices can be monitored, configured, and updated remotely through Robustel Cloud Manager Service (RCMS). For secure remote access, RobustVPN can assign a stable “fixed IP style” connection on any SIM, so engineers can reach equipment in the field without sending a technician.
The router runs RobustOS, giving you Web UI, CLI, and SMS management options, plus access to optional applications and SDK extensions for project-specific behavior.

Electric Vehicle (EV) Chargers
The R1511P mounts inside the charger housing, adding 4G/LTE backhaul, Ethernet, and serial to the existing controller without redesigning the cabinet. Remote support comes through RCMS and RobustVPN.
Ticket Machines & Kiosks
The R1511P fits directly inside kiosks and ticket machines, delivering secure cellular connectivity, Ethernet, and optional Wi-Fi in a compact board-level form. No external router box, no extra wiring footprint.
Vending Machines
The R1511P installs inside the vending enclosure, linking the machine controller over RS-232/RS-485 and pushing data over 4G/LTE. You get connectivity, monitoring, and remote access without changing the mechanical design.
