IP67 Industrial Enclosure with Integrated Cooling and Flexible RF Support
The OTD6710 is a ruggedized waterproof enclosure designed to house Robustel 4G/5G industrial routers and gateways in demanding outdoor environments. A built-in heavy-duty aluminium heat sink manages thermal load without active cooling, preventing performance throttling during sustained operation in high-ambient-temperature conditions. The enclosure body is moulded from UL 746C F1-rated PC 945U resin, providing UV resistance and UL94-V0 flame retardancy for long-term exposure to direct sunlight and temperature extremes.
RF configuration is flexible: up to four external N-type connectors support high-gain fiberglass antennas for extended range, while up to six internal PCB antennas (four cellular, two Wi-Fi) provide a clean, integrated installation where external antennas aren’t required. Internal pigtails are customisable to SMA or RP-SMA to match the installed device’s antenna ports.
A hinge-connected lid secured by dual quick-release buckles and front reinforcement screws achieves a hermetic IP67 seal while keeping on-site access straightforward. A built-in waterproof breather valve balances internal and external air pressure to prevent condensation buildup. Four waterproof cable glands — two M16 for power and serial, two M22 for Ethernet — complete the cable management, with support for wall and pole mounting across all variants.

Full dust exclusion and protection against temporary submersion — suitable for exposed outdoor installations in all weather conditions.
BUILT-IN HEAT SINK
Built-in 156 × 75 × 14 mm aluminium heat sink dissipates heat from high-power routers and gateways without active cooling, preventing thermal throttling under sustained load.
FLEXIBLE RF CONFIG
Up to 4 external N-type antenna ports or up to 6 internal PCB antennas (4× cellular + 2× Wi-Fi). Internal pigtails configurable to SMA or RP-SMA to match the installed device.
WATERPROOF GLAND
4× IP67-rated cable glands (2× M16 for power/serial, 2× M22 for Ethernet) with a clamping range of 6–8 mm cable O.D.
