IACS UR E26/27 class approval is mandatory for vessels whose design & build contract is signed on 1st July 2024 or later. IACS Unified Requirements E26 & E27 enhance vessel cyber resilience throughout their lifecycle by imposing requirements on ship owners.

Till 1st July 2024, in 12 members of IACS, 11 societies have already adopted UR E26 and E27, and 7 of them have already released the cybersecurity guidelines to facilitate the adoptions of E26&E27.

In this context, Robustel, a leading global player in marine cybersecurity, launched an end-to-end marine cybersecurity solution in May 2024 that meets IEC61162-460 standards which specified in E27 for navigation system, radio communication and interconnected networks.
