Passerelle IoT Robustel Optimisation de la solution IoT industrielle par UPR, PALTEK

PALTEK CORPORATION et le fournisseur de plateformes IoT Cloud, UPR Corporation, ont récemment annoncé leur intention de fournir une solution IoT industrielle aux industries manufacturières mondiales.

En partenariat avec SORACOM INC., qui fournit des services de communication de données aux entreprises IoT, et Robustel, qui fournit du matériel industriel et des solutions IoT à des entreprises du monde entier, dont le partenaire de distribution japonais est PALTEK, la solution IoT a été lancée avec succès en avril de cette année.

\" /><br />The IoT solution consists of UPR’s IoT platform “Scalenics®”, SORACOM’s data communication SIM card “SORACOM Air for Cellular” (hereafter Air SIM) and an industrial IoT gateway provided by Guangzhou Robustel Technologies Co., Ltd (hereafter “Robustel”).</p><p>Usually, when constructing an IoT system for visualizing information from a network of sensors in the cloud, the user has to integrate the hardware, such as IoT gateways and the IoT platform for visualization by itself, which is a high barrier to introducing the system.</p><p>In this new solution, Robustel’s IoT gateway can be easily connected to “Scalenics®” and “SORACOM Air SIM” via integrated software. Therefore, information from sensors can be easily aggregated and visualized in the cloud. Going beyond data visualization, the Scalenics® API enables more sophisticated data processing, as well as integration with the user&#8217;s system, for further analysis, etc.</p><p>Robustel&#8217;s IoT gateway supports over 20 mobile phone carriers, both in Japan and overseas, which makes it possible to use this IoT solution package world-wide as well. Furthermore, the system supports “Modbus*” which is the de facto standard communication protocol between industrial electronic devices, and can be used for remote monitoring of production-line machines.</p><p>Mr. Yoshiya Sakata, president of UPR said,</p><p>”Since long before the term ‘IoT’ became popular, our company has been committed to developing remote monitoring know-how for industrial and other applications.
